Gay Newlyweds Dazzle in a Surprise Dance Routine for their Wedding

Gay newlyweds from Portland, Oregon showed just how wonderful and fantastic it is to finally find someone to spend the rest of your life with. This funky couple killed it on the dance floor in a flash mob held at their own wedding reception.

LGBTQ Nation, an online news magazine reporting on issues relevant to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community, wrote that newlywed husbands Isaiah and Taylor Green-Jones busted down on the dance floor much to the enjoyment of their guests.

This celebratory dance routine was choreographed by no other than Taylor himself, who is a dance instructor and “worked with another dancer to help create a group dance routine” for the flash mob.

The result was a bad-ass and amazing dance number where other guests moved and grooved to the vocal powerhouse and one and only Queen Bey's song “Before I Let Go,” and the viral masterpiece “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X.

LGBTQ Nation further reports that the wedding even made headlines and appeared on Good Morning America, an American morning television show broadcasted on ABC. Taylor spoke to Good Morning America about the routine and said, “We’d always wanted to do a dance video, but had never made a routine.”

Taylor also added that Lil Nas X’s song was an important song they wanted to dance to, owing to the fact that Lil Nas X was an “openly gay black male artist” and very proud of it, too. Taylor explained that when they did the routine, everyone was caught by surprise.

“No one knew, so there was a lot of cheering, a lot of yelling. It was great,” he said.

It was one thing to thrill and encourage people at their wedding to stand to their feet and dance along, and another thing entirely for people on the internet to feel the same way. According to Isaiah, it seemed the celebration had not yet ended, because after posting the video online, they got flooded with positive comments and support.

The couple dated each other for six years. Isaiah decided to pop the question on Taylor’s birthday last September 28, 2019.
