According to an article by Red Book Magazine, an American women's magazine published by the Hearst Corporation, the capsaicin that is found in these peppers helps in boosting metabolism. This compound is able to induce thermogenesis, a process where cells convert energy into heat. 

Science Daily, a website that provides science news, mentioned that capsaicin stimulates a receptor that is found in sensory neurons. As the body sweats and reacts from the hot pepper, it increases metabolism and burns off fat.

This tasty treat can do a lot more than merely improving someone’s mood. Healthline, a website that provides health and wellness articles, stated that cocoa extracts are capable of promoting the expression of genes that stimulate the use of fat for energy. There is also a study that showed cocoa contains enzymes that break down fat and carbs during digestion.

It doesn’t have to be sparkling water or a special one, even regular tap water is very helpful in improving digestion and metabolism. RedBook Magazine mentioned that it is important to drink eight glasses a day in order to have an improved metabolism. According to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, it is vital to consume 500 milliliters of water regularly so that metabolic rate could increase by 30 percent.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is helpful for losing weight. This is because it increases the amount of fat burned needed for energy. It also enhances the feeling of fullness and slows the process of the stomach emptying so that a person won’t feel the need to eat frequently. Vinegar yields healing properties as well.
