Moms Have a Hilarious Photo Shoot for Children’s First Day of School

School break is over and finally, parents can now have time to themselves. When the children are away, parents can also party away! This was realized by a couple of mothers from Florida as they had a photoshoot to celebrate their freedom away from their kids for a little while.

The four moms have 18 children in total. So, nobody can blame them if they are happy for a little while and they can be separated from their children. Shawna Genua wrote in a Facebook post, together with one photo: “First day of school!!!!!! Whaaaaat!!!!.” The photo shows Genua with the other moms having fun.

The women seem like they are having the time of their lives, sipping their well-deserved drinks.

They’re also dressed in their most comfortable pajamas. The photo has a caption that says, “First Day of School 2019 #ByeFelicia.”

Genua explained in an interview with Sun-Sentinel that they had the photoshoot because they had seen other people’s posts with sad pictures of their kids going back to school on Facebook. That’s when they realized that they shouldn't feel sad at all. They were free again.

“People thought we were drinking. But we only do that when the kids are at school,” Kelly, 49, a mom of one, said in an interview with Today. She also hopes that the photos will allow the world to understand that being a full-time mother doesn’t mean that one should sacrifice their alone time.
