"Dragon Girl" Gets Acrylic Fangs as Part of Ongoing Body Modifications

Self-proclaimed "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" Amber Luke bares her fangs that could pierce the skin. They were an addition to her extensive body modification to look like a dragon girl.

Luke's acrylic fangs, which she could insert in her mouth, resemble those of movie vampires and are part of her $26,000 body modifications that include 130 tattoos, split tongue, and stretched earlobes.

"They’re very sharp. Sharp enough to pierce skin," Luke told Daily Mail Australia, a middle-market newspaper originally published in London. "I love the look of them, it’s so aesthetically pleasing. I decided years ago that I wanted vampire fangs. I knew I wanted them to be a part of my look."

Among her hundreds of tattoos, the blue tattooed eyeballs and the word "savage" written below her eye stands out the most.

Luke went to Melbourne where she hoped to get more body modifications and have at least four different artists tattoo her in just a week. Among her plans include four sessions of MSculpt on her stomach and bum, which UNILAD, a British internet media company and website that provides "social news" and entertainment, said is equivalent to 20,000 crunches or squats.

Ideally, Luke wanted to be "fully covered by the end of next March," adding that she went to the US to get "fully covered and silver grills in the shape of two fangs for my canine teeth."

Luke was only 16 when she became intrigued with tattoos and before she began experimenting with extreme body modifications, UNILAD reported.

It added that the 24-year-old piercer from Australia posted a photo of herself when she was 14 years old, saying that she "hated every aspect of herself" at the time. At that age, the piercer was also diagnosed with severe clinical depression and she "didn't know who she was" or what she wanted from life.

"I absolutely hate the way I used to look. It wasn’t me. But I’ve evolved myself over the years into what I want to be and look like, but in saying that, I still have a long way to go," Luke said.

"Back when I was 14, I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted from life. I was catatonic and couldn’t see what was best for me. I was naive. But I now have a backbone and I can stand up for what I believe in. I also have the confidence to look however I want to."
